But in 2017, my life was flipped upside down when I was told I needed open heart surgery. I was 46. In response to my health challenge, I was forced to focus on what was really important to me as a mother, wife and business owner.
As I began to simplify my life, I started to appreciate the role that our products play in this process. Well-designed cabinetry makes life simpler and controls the clutter that weighs us down. But, while everyone deserves a stress-free custom experience, it's not always affordable. Because of the uniqueness of this project and my success as an entrepreneur, I’ve been chosen to participate in ATB Financial’s Build Her Business crowdfunding competition through ATB BoostR.
