Hi, I am Jolanda Slagmolen-Flores, founder of Sencillo Cabinets.
And this is my husband, Humberto Flores. Together, we are the co-owners of Casa Flores Custom Cabinetry.
For the past 13 years, as the co-owner of Casa Flores Custom Cabinetry, I have become known for designing breathtaking custom kitchens for Calgary clients, creating the dream homes so many of us fantasize about. But in 2017, in response to a health challenge, I was forced to focus on what was really important to me, space for me and my family’s happiness and wellbeing.
As I began to simplify my home, my work, and my life, I started to appreciate the important role that our products play in this process. Well-designed cabinetry makes life simpler and controls the clutter that weighs us down mentally. But, while everyone deserves a stress-free custom experience, it's not always affordable. And while stock cabinetry is generally inexpensive, bringing your vision to life can be confusing, complex and frustrating all on your own.
Why was there no cabinetry solution that combined the positive buying experience of custom with the affordability of stock? That’s when the idea came to me.
